Policies Reports

A description of the different reports that are available through the Policies module

This article gives information about the appearance and details of each of the reports that are available for the Policies module.

Introduction

This section gives information about the different Policies reports that are available.

The Policies Reports list on the Reports landing page, reports available are listed below this image.

The available reports for the Policies module are:

  • Policy Overview Report

  • List of all Policies Report

  • List Policies with Type: Matches Report

  • List Policies with Type: Unwanted Report

  • List Policies with Type: Required Report.

  1. Click Schedule This Report (calendar icon) on the same row as the report to receive the report as an email attachment. Multiple selection is allowed.

  2. Click Open Report (eye icon) to get the newest report.

  3. Click Report Administration (gear icon) to add other users to receive the report.

Navigation

This section gives instructions on how to navigate to the report center and how to view and receive reports.

  1. Click Report Center (paper icon) on the top menu bar of Monsido.

    The location of the Report Center button on the top menu bar, in line with the Monsido Logo.

  2. Open Report (eye icon): Click to open the Report pane.

    • Click the link to navigate to the URL.

    • Tick the radio button to select a domain or group report.

    • Click Save.

    • A dialog box informs: Generating report. Your report is currently being generated. You will receive an email when the report is ready. You can see the current progress under the "Received reports" box to the right.

    • OK: Click to close the dialog box.

    • Open Received Reports: Click to open and view reports that are already sent.

    • The new requested report is sent to your email.

Policy Overview Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • All Policies: The total number of active policies.

  • Matches: The total number of policies that matched with instances in the website, as detected by the scan.

  • Unwanted: The total number of policies for unwanted data.

  • Required: The total number of policies that are required by the website owner.

  • The chart gives information about policy matches, unwanted matches, and required matches.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Policy: This column lists the name of the policy and a link to the page(s) where the scan found a match.

    • Compliance: This column lists the percentage of compliance that instances of this policy make up.

    • Hits: This column lists the number of instances of this policy that were found by the scan.

    • Scheduled: This column gives information about whether or not the policy is scheduled for the scan.

    • Latest Run: The date of the most recent scan in which this policy was active.

List of All Policies Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • All Policies: Shows the total number of policies.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Policy: The name of the policy.

    • Type: The type of policy, Matches, Required, or Unwanted.

    • Compliance: The percentage of compliance.

    • Hits: The number of times the policy was found.

    • Scheduled: Is the policy scheduled to run regularly - Yes or No.

    • Latest run: The date of the most recent scan that included the policy.

  • All Policies: Shows the total number of policies with Matches.

  • The chart has the columns:

    • Policy: The name of the policy.

    • Hits: The number of times the policy was found.

    • Scheduled: Is the policy scheduled to run regularly - Yes or No.

  • Policies: Shows the total number of policies that are unwanted.

  • The chart has the columns:

    • Policy: The name of the policy.

    • Compliance: The percentage of compliance.

    • Hits: The number of times the policy was found.

    • Scheduled: Is the policy scheduled to run regularly - Yes or No.
