Information about how to use the Monsido report center

This article gives instructions on how to create and receive reports, how admin users can assign other users to receive reports, and the appearance and details of each report.

Introduction

The Report Center contains the contents of every scan, sorted and organized into useful reports. Administrators can assign reports to users from here.


Instructions

  1. Click Select Domain to expand the Domains list.

  2. Select the domain to open.

  3. Alternatively, from the Domain Overview page, click Open on the same row as the domain name.

  4. The Dashboard for the domain opens.

  5. Click Report Center (paper icon) on the top menu bar of Monsido.

  6. The page shows all scheduled reports in a chart form. The options above the chart for manipulating data view are:

    • Search: Enter a search parameter for reports.

    • Filter: Click to expand the filters choices. Select filters:

      • Module: Choose the module to filter for.

        Note: Only active modules for the account are available:

        • Accessibility

        • SEO

        • Statistics

        • Heartbeat

        • Quality Assurance

        • Policy

        • Data Protection

        • Heatmaps

        • Inventory.

    • View: Select the page view. Choose between:

      • Grid

      • List.

  7. The list is arranged with the following columns:

    • Title: The title of the report.

    • Module: The module that the report shows results for.

    • Users receiving reports: The users that are assigned to receive reports.

  8. The rows also contain the following options for each list item:

    • Send me weekly report (calendar icon): Click to schedule a weekly report (current/logged-in user).

      • The Schedule Report pane opens.

      • Click the link to navigate to the URL.

      • Tick the radio button to select a domain for the report you want.

      • Click Save.

    • Open Report (eye icon): Click to open the Report pane.

      • Click the link to navigate to the URL.

      • Tick the radio button to select a domain or group report.

      • Click Save.

      • A dialog box informs: Generating report. Your report is currently being generated. You will receive an email when the report is ready. You can see the current progress under the "Received reports" box to the right.

      • OK: Click to close the dialog box.

      • Open Received Reports: Click to open the list of reports that are already sent.

      • The new requested report is sent to your email.

    • Report Administration (gear icon): Click to open the Report Administration pane. Add or remove users who should receive the report.

      • Click the link to navigate to the URL.

      • Click Settings (gear icon) on the same row as a URL. The Select Users pane opens.

      • Tick to select users to receive the report.

      • Click Save to save the selection and close the pane.

  • Click Save again to save all changes.


My Scheduled Reports

This section shows the reports that are scheduled to be delivered to the active (logged in) user after each scan.

  1. On the same row as a report, click the gear icon.

  2. On the same row as a domain, tick the box to select it. The selected report for that domain is sent after each scan.


All Scheduled Reports

This section shows all reports that are scheduled to be sent, and the users who receive them. Admins can assign users or groups to receive the reports.

  1. On the same row as a report, click Schedule Report (gear icon).

  2. The Schedule Report pane opens.

  3. On the same row as a domain, click Select Users (gear icon) to schedule a new user or group to receive the report.

  5. On the same row as a user, tick the box to select them. Select as many as needed.

  6. Click Save to save the selection and close the pane.

  7. Click Save to save the changes to the domain and close the pane.

Received Reports

This section shows the reports that are scheduled to be sent to the current (logged in) user.

Click Open to view the report. The report shows a more detailed view of the type and number of errors found for the selected module.

Schedule a Report

This section gives instructions on how to receive reports to your email.

  1. On the same row as a report, click Schedule This Report (calendar icon).

  2. Tick the box to select a domain in the Schedule Report pane. Select as many as needed. The report is sent to your email after each scan.

View a Report

This section gives information on how to view a report without scheduling it to repeat.

  1. On the same row as a report, click Open Report (eye icon).

  2. Select a domain or group from the list in the Report pane.

  3. Click Save.

  4. A pop-up message informs that: "Your report is currently being generated. You will receive an email when the report is ready. You can see the current progress under the 'Received reports' box to the right".

  5. Click Open Received Reports if you want to view the report in the current browser.

    1. Locate the report in the Received Reports list that opens.

    2. Click Open on the same row as the report to view it.

  6. Click OK to close the dialog and view the report later from your email.


Add Users to Receive a Report

This section gives information about how to add other users to receive a report by email.

  1. Click Report Administration (gear icon) on the same row as a domain.

  2. On the same row as a domain, click Select Users (gear icon).

  3. Tick to select existing users. They will automatically start to receive the selected report after the next scan.

    The checkbox that the user selects to add an existing user to the list to receive this report.

  4. Click Save.

  5. To add a new user to receive the report:

    1. Click + Add a non-user email.

    2. Fill in the fields on the Add non users page.

      • First Name: Enter the first name (given name) of the non-user.

      • Last Name: Enter the last name (surname/family name) name of the non-user.

      • Email: Enter the email address where the report for this person should be sent.

    3. Click Add.


Accessibility Reports

This section gives information about the different Accessibility reports that are available.

  • Accessibility Summary Report

  • Accessibility Checks Report

  • Pages with Accessibility Issues Report

  • Classic Accessibility Report

  • Accessibility Guidelines Report

  • PDF Review Report.

Quality Assurance Reports

This section gives information about the different Quality Assurance reports that are available.

The Quality Assurance Reports list on the Reports landing page, reports available are listed below this image.

The available reports for the Quality Assurance module are:

  • Quality Assurance Summary Report

  • Pages with Quality Assurance Errors Report

  • Broken Links Report

  • Misspellings Report

  • Pages with Misspellings Report

  • Potential Misspellings Report

  • Readability Score Report

  • Broken Links Per Page Report

  • Misspellings Per Page Report.

This section gives information about the different SEO reports that are available.

The available reports for the SEO module are:

  • Search Engine Optimization Summary Report

  • Pages with SEO opportunities report

  • SEO opportunities report

  • SEO high priority opportunities report

  • SEO medium priority opportunities report

  • SEO low priority opportunities report

  • SEO technical opportunities report.

Policies Reports

This section gives information about the different Policies reports that are available.

The available reports for the Policies module are:

  • Policy Overview Report

  • List of all Policies Report

  • List Policies with Type: Matches Report

  • List Policies with Type: Unwanted Report

  • List Policies with Type: Required Report.
