A description of the different reports that are available through the QA module

This article gives information about the appearance and details of each of the reports that are available for the Quality Assurance module.

Introduction

This document gives information about the reports for the Quality Assurance module. On the Reports page in the Reports module, locate the Quality Assurance section to see the reports available for this module.

The Quality Assurance Reports list on the Reports landing page, reports available are listed below this image.

The available reports for the Quality Assurance module are:

  • Quality Assurance Summary Report

  • Pages with Quality Assurance Errors Report

  • Broken Links Report

  • Misspellings Report

  • Pages with Misspellings Report

  • Potential Misspellings Report

  • Readability Score Report

  • Broken Links Per Page Report

  • Misspellings Per Page Report.

  1. Click Schedule This Report (calendar icon) on the same row as the report to receive the report as an email attachment. Multiple selection is allowed.

  2. Click Open Report (eye icon) to get the newest report.

  3. Click Report Administration (gear icon) to add other users to receive the report.

Navigation

This section gives instructions on how to navigate to the report center and how to view and receive reports.

  1. Click Report Center (paper icon) on the top menu bar of Monsido.

    The location of the Report Center button on the top menu bar, in line with the Monsido Logo.

  2. Open Report (eye icon): Click to open the Report pane.

    • Click the link to navigate to the URL.

    • Tick the radio button to select a domain or group report.

    • Click Save.

    • A dialog box informs: Generating report. Your report is currently being generated. You will receive an email when the report is ready. You can see the current progress under the "Received reports" box to the right.

    • OK: Click to close the dialog box.

    • Open Received Reports: Click to open and view reports that are already sent.

    • The new requested report is sent to your email.

Quality Assurance Summary Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Compliance Status: The percentage of the site that meets compliance standards.

  • Pages Scanned: The total number of pages included in the scan.

  • Issues Found: The total nuynber of issues that the scan found.

  • Links:

    • Broken Links: The total number of broken links.

    • Pages with Broken Links: The number of pages that have broken links.

  • Misspellings

    • Misspellings: The total number of misspellings.

    • Pages with misspellings: The total number of pages that contain misspellings.

    • Potential misspellings: The total number of words that are potentially misspelled. These should be examined by a human.

    • Pages with potential misspellings: The total number of pages that contain potentially misspelled words.

Pages with Quality Assurance Errors Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name and date of the scan.

  • Overall compliance status (% of pages without issues).

  • Crawl information:

    • Pages scanned: Number of pages included in the scan.

    • Pages with QA errors: Number of pages with quality assurance errors.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Content: This column contains a link to the page or resource with the error.

    • Type: This column gives information on the source type of the page or resource.

    • Misspellings: This column tells how many errors of this type occur on the page.

    • Broken Links: This column tells how many errors of this type of occur on the page.

    • Broken Images: This column tells how many errors of this type of occur on the page.

Broken Links Summary Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Compliance Status: Percentage of links that are not broken.

  • Links Scanned: The number of links that the scan found.

  • Broken Links: The number of links that the scan determined are broken.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Link: The broken link.

    • Response Code: The response code that the broken link generated. Some common response codes are:

      • 404 (client error)

      • 500 (internal server error)

      • 300 (redirect issue)

    • Documents: The number of documents where the link is found.

    • Pages: The number of pages where the link is found.

Misspellings Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name and date of the scan.

  • Overall Misspelling Compliance Status: The percentage of pages with no misspelled words.

  • Crawl Information

    • Pages Scanned: The total number of pages included in the scan.

    • Pages with Misspellings: The number of pages where the scan found the misspelling.

    • Total misspellings found: The total number of misspelled words that the scan found.

  • Misspelling

    • Misspelling: This column lists the words that the scan determined is a misspelling.

    • Appears on Pages: The number of pages that the scan found this word on.

Pages with Misspellings Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Overall Misspelling Compliance Status: The percentage of pages with no misspelled words.

  • Crawl Information

    • Pages Scanned: The total number of pages included in the scan.

    • Pages with Misspellings: The number of pages where the scan found the misspelling.

    • Total misspellings found: The total number of misspelled words that the scan found.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Content: This column shows the page name where the scan found a misspelling.

    • Type: This column shows the type of resource where the misspelling was found.

    • Potential: This column shows the number of words that are potentially misspelled.

    • Confirmed: This column shows the number of words that are confirmed as misspelled.

Potential Misspellings Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Overall potential misspelling compliance status: The percentage of pages with no misspelled words.

  • Crawl Information

    • Pages Scanned: The total number of pages included in the scan.

    • Pages with Potential Misspellings: The number of pages where the scan found the potential misspelling.

    • Total potential misspellings found: The total number of potentially misspelled words that the scan found.

  • Potential Misspelling:

    • Misspelled word: This column shows the word that the scan determined is a potential misspelling.

    • Appears on pages: This column lists the number of pages where the potentially misspelled word is found.

Readability Score Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Most Pages Readability Level: This shows the average readability level of the pages included in the scan.

  • Pages Scanned: This shows the number of pages included in the scan.

  • Grade Level: This column lists the grade reading level.

  • Pages: This column lists the number of pages that are within the grade reading level.

  • The report has the columns:

    • Content: This graph lists the source of the reading level score.

    • Type: This column lists the type of source for the reading level score.

    • Score: This column lists the reading level score for the source.

    • Grade: This column shows the school grade reading level for the text in the source.

Broken Links Per Page Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Overall Compliance Status: Percentage of links that are not broken.

  • Crawl Information

    • Links Scanned: The number of links that the scan found.

    • Broken Links: The number of links that the scan determined are broken.

  • Page

    • Page: This column shows the broken link.

    • Anchor Text: This column shows the anchor text for the broken link.

    • Broken Link: This column shows the full html link that is broken.

Misspellings Per Page Report

The report is delivered to the email addresses for the persons assigned to receive this report.

The fields show:

  • Report name, domain, and date of the scan.

  • Overall Misspelling Compliance Status: Percentage of pages that do not contain misspellings.

  • Crawl Information

    • Pages Scanned: The number of pages that were included in the scan.

    • Potential Misspellings: The number of potential misspellings that the scan found.

    • Confirmed Misspellings: The number of confirmed misspelled words that the scan found.

    • Total pages with misspellings: The total number of pages that contain misspelled words that the scan found.

  • Page: This column gives a link to the page with the misspelled words.

  • Word

    • Word: This column shows the word that is a confirmed or potential misspelling.

    • Classification: This column shows the type of misspelling, Potential or Confirmed.
