Introduction
The Monsido Dictionary allows users to add frequently-used words that the spellcheck consistently flags as misspelled words or potentially misspelled words to the scan. Words added to the dictionary are ignored by the scan.

Edit a word in the Dictionary
It is not possible to edit a word from within the Dictionary. It can be done, however.
First, follow the steps in this guide to remove the word from the dictionary:
On the website, ensure that the correct spelling is present within the html code in at least one location. Make a note of the location.
Scan the website. Both instances of the word are caught by the scan and appear in the Misspelled Words section.

Related Actions
This section includes some helpful settings and actions that are related to the Dictionary feature.
Ignore capitalized words
Words that the user includes in the Dictionary are case-sensitive. To instruct the scan to ignore words that are written in all caps, and bypass the need to, for example, add the word to the dictionary, follow the steps below for instructions about the Spelling ignore capitalized words option.
From the Monsido Domain Overview (globe icon), click Settings (gear icon) at the top of the page. The Admin Settings page opens.
Note: The Settings button is only available to site admins.
On the same row as the domain to scan, click Action.
In the drop-down list, select Edit Domain.
The Edit Domain page opens.
Click to toggle the Spelling Ignore Capitalized Words switch to ON.
How to Search and Replace
If a misspelled word is detected throughout the website, this option allows the user to replace the word in bulk. See the User Guide article about PageCorrect for full instructions on the module.
Search-and-replace all spellings of the words with PageCorrect:
Click PageCorrect (icon of a shield with a checkmark).
From the menu on the left-hand side of the page, click List.
The PageCorrect Content page opens.
Use or apply custom PageCorrect: Click Use or Apply Custom PageCorrect, on the upper right-hand side of the page.
A dialog opens. Fill in the fields:
Target: Enter a word or phrase to search for.
Word or Phrase: Enter a word or phrase to replace it with.
Save
The custom word or phrase appears in the list.
On the same row as the custom entry, click Action. Select:
Update: Select this option to edit the custom word or phrase.
Remove: Select this option to remove the custom word or phrase.
Additional information:
Note: The Monsido Spellcheck feature scans for misspelled words in the primary language of the page by default. In the case that the page language is something other than the primary language of the domain, words can be marked as potential misspellings if they are not found in the dictionary even if they are correctly spelled in the language of origin. Turn on the Use Language Attribute function in domain configuration to avoid this.
