Hi,

First off, thanks for all your hard work in making sure our website is (Insert content goal, such as: up-to-date, fresh, informative, useful). High quality website content really matters to (Insert who your website users are, such as: our customers, the community, our students and staff)!

It is a lot of work to maintain a high website quality, especially in our industry where (Insert problem faced by your organization, such as: you must get content out fast, you have multiple authors, the web is constantly changing).

With that in mind, I wanted to reach out and make sure you know of changes we’ll be making soon in the (Insert your Department Name here).

(Insert when you will start using Monsido, such as: In the upcoming weeks), we are going to start using a new Web Governance tool suite called Monsido.

Monsido will scan the website and look for errors on pages. Some of the errors that Monsido will find include:

  • Broken links

  • Misspellings

  • Duplicate headings

  • Missing meta descriptions

  • Images without ALT tags

You won’t need to use Monsido, and the rollout of the new tool isn’t likely to affect you. However, depending on the type of errors we see on Monsido, we might need to change or reassess some of our policies about how content is published and updated.

Of course, we will keep you updated about any news that impacts you.
